Stereolithography - SLA resins and equipment

Realize, Inc. proudly specializes in Stereolithography (SLA) technology with an iPro™ 9000, two SLA-5000’s and three Viper si2 SLA systems. Our Vipers are capable of High Resolution (HR) for ultra detailed features. Stereolithography is a layer additive manufacturing method which employs an ultraviolet laser to selectively cure a liquid plastic resin. This process produces a highly accurate and very detailed part that can be further finished to our client’s unique specifications. The time to produce a model can be as little as a few hours or as long as several days, depending on your particular geometry.

	Somos® 8120 This polyethylene-like resin is an excellent choice for functional applications where accuracy, flexibility, and impact strength are critical requirements.

	Accura® 25 This resin allows us to provide a pleasing white model with properties and aesthetics of polypropylene. This durable, flexible resin has become a very popular choice for many applications.

	Accura® Xtreme This resin is our newest offering and allows us to provide models with properties and aesthetics similar to durable molded plastics like polyproplene and ABS. We are excited about Accura® Xtreme and expect this gray, tough resin to become a popular choice for applications requiring outstanding durability and impact resistance.

	Somos® WaterShed™ 11120 This strong rigid resin retains its properties over a variety of environmental conditions and also offers a similar aesthetic appeal of the Somos WaterClear family of transparent resins. Many of the physical properties match those of extrusion grade PBT and transparent grade ABS, two common plastics used in manufacturing. Applications can include water flow analysis and wind tunnel testing.

	Accura® 60 This resin allows us to provide models with properties and aesthetics similar to polycarbonate. This clear, tough material has become quite popular for applications where those properties are required.
